A Little About Annie & Inspiration

Let me introduce myself, I am Annie Groom, Bloomsbury House is my ‘retreat baby’. For many years I have created interiors designed for clients, both in commercial and domestic properties. However, the thing I love to do the most though is, paint. I feel so lucky to live on The North Norfolk coast drawing inspiration from my habitat that is right on my doorstep. So, the idea behind the interior of Bloomsbury House was something that evolved in my mind, driven by my love for attention to detail and the serene landscapes that surround me.

The North Norfolk coast holds a special place in my heart, (especially marrying James, a Norfolk man, many years ago) and it truly serves as the wellspring of my creativity. The tranquility of the land and the beauty of the sea have always been a huge catalyst for my work. You'll find my paintings adorning the walls of Bloomsbury House along with some pieces I have purchased over the years.

I do exhibit and sell my work, I'm also open to commissions, eager to bring your vision to life on canvas. And you know, beyond the walls of Bloomsbury House, I love to share my passion with a wider audience. I've been known to host art workshops, where I can guide you through the process of creating your own masterpiece, drawing inspiration from the very landscapes that have shaped my artistic journey.
