Olive Edis & Photo Magic

How exciting! Guess what? We actually bought and renovated  Olive Edis' charming property on Church Street in Sheringham, and we've transformed it into the most delightful holiday retreat. Can you believe the history these bricks will holds? It's like stepping into a time capsule of creativity and local life.

Now imagine staying in this cozy haven where Olive Edis once unleashed her photographic talents. You'll be surrounded by the same streets that inspired her, and you might even feel a sprinkle of her artistic magic in the air. From the quaint fishermen to the bustling townspeople, you'll get to experience a slice of what she saw through her lens.

We found pictures of Olive Edis standing in the dining room in an arch (that James rediscovered and exposed) also a photo she took of a man on a horse at the front of the house when it still had a front garden.

And just think about the stories those walls could tell – from the early days of photography to the present. It's not just a place to stay; it's a journey into the past, mingling with the present, and making memories for the future. So, get ready to immerse yourself in the heart of Sheringham's history and creativity, right here in our cozy holiday let on Church Street, simply moments from the beach.
