In The Beginning

We, James and me, found our house 3 years ago nestled in the market town of Sheringham, only a stones throw from the beach,   As soon as we viewed the property in Church Street, we knew it was the one, despite the fact that it was in serious need of TLC.  With blood, sweat, tears and a shed load of money we turned it into a one-of-a-kind holiday retreat.

Our goal from the start was to be able to offer an unforgettable experience for good folks, ones who seek a blend of history, art, and natural wonders all whilst relaxing. What we loved about the house was that it  has a sense of history coming to life on walking through the front door.  Olive Edis, a renowned WW1 photographer  was the original owner, in fact her uncle designed and had it built for her at the beginning of the last century.

We want our guests to feel they have stumbled upon coastal and countryside bliss. The North Norfolk Coast offers the best of both worlds, with breathtaking coastal walks that unveil stunning vistas of the sea.  If you're a walking and nature enthusiast, venturing  into the lush countryside connects you with the heart of nature and fabulous breathtaking views too.

We are  mindful of what we both appreciate on holiday, so whilst we are offering a retreat away from the ordinary, we ensure your comfort remains a top priority.  Bloomsbury House  has been equipped with modern amenities and thoughtful touches to make your stay hassle-free. From high-speed Wi-Fi to cozy bedding, we've got your needs covered.

We feel that if you're looking for a relaxing getaway with your family or friends, our holiday home offers something for everyone. It’s so simple to enjoy leisurely days by the coast, capture the new memories through your camera lens, make some new family  traditions.

If you would like to make new memories with the ones you love, you could book your stay now, we’d be so please to have you as our guests.   We are so excited to see bookings coming in now!

Hope to see you soon best wishes,

Annie and James
