The Best Sunsets
Alright, you have to imagine this: You're staying in Bloomsbury House in Sheringham on the North Norfolk coast, ready for a sunset showdown. The sky's turning shades of red that even a tomato would envy. You've got a picnic basket loaded with goodies that would make a food critic jump for joy. Beginning to get the picture?
Of course, you only have a short walk to the beach before you plop down on the sand , feeling like the ultimate sunset VIP. The waves are putting on a synchronized dance, and you're thinking, "Save some applause for my sandwich masterpiece!"
Speaking of sandwiches, yours is a work of art, made with layers of deliciousness, tasting even better with locally baked bread and liberally sprinkled with salty air.
Then there’s the seagulls, of course, eyeing your feast like you’ve got a a 5-star restaurant in your hand. You give 'em a look that says, "This picnic's invite-only, folks!" They squawk back, but you stand your ground.
As the sun gets ready to dip, you raise a cup filled with fizzy perfection. "To sunsets and snacks!" you toast. Even the seagulls seem to nod in agreement.
Then, bam! The sun kisses the sea goodnight, leaving behind a painting that's better than any art gallery. You lean back, feeling like a sandy king or queen, surrounded by crumbs and pure happiness.
So there you have it – North Norfolk coast, epic sunset, legendary picnic, and you, the champion of good times. It's a memory that'll always make you smile.
James and me have so many memories like this, we mix it around and have fish and chips sometimes. We honestly can highly recommend it as a great way to live, even if it’s only for a week or so at a time.
